Kerry's smooth and controlled operation of all things guitar have catapulted him to the position of being the premier session guitarist throughout New England. His searing lead lines and tight, aggressive rhythm playing create envy in even the most skilled guitar-players alive today. Not Solely a master axe-slinger.......Kerry is also a skilled Turtle Journeyman, and a large-moth cocoon hunting apprentice. Take a journey with us, through Running Fish, and learn why Kerry is the Doc's Guitar MASTER of the entire Eastern Seaboard. First off, let's journey INTO Kerry's music Studio. Notice his extremely impressive collection of guitars and other musical equipment. Kerry's skills as a musician are not merely limited to six strings, as is clearly evident. His vocal and keyboard skills are also held in high regard throughout the New England music community.
Kerry's Impressive collection of guitars contains everything from Telecasters, to MIDI guitars, to 12-string acoustics. Many have traveled from far distances to get a glimpse at his impressive collection...
Below, you can see the photos which allowed Brad to promote Kerry to the esteemed position of official Turtle Journeyman. Kerry's splendid use of proper snapping turtle handling techniques is extremely impressive. At work, Kerry is the Go-To-Guy for any type of wildlife or nature issues that may arise. This snapper was found wandering about in Kerry's work parking lot. Kerry was immediately called upon by his frantic and terrified co-workers to control the situation and- using his trained reflexes and dazzling knowledge of nature, he successfully caught the snapper, and released him safely back into the wild as only a trained journeyman could do.
It should be noted that one should not attempt this on their own- Kerry is a trained specialist.
Kerry is also a certified large-moth cocoon hunter, which in itself is a difficult rank to acquire. Kerry found a Polyphemus moth cocoon near his home in Massachusetts (an especially rare and noteworthy find in that part of the country) early in the spring of 2005....using his keen skills as a naturalist, Kerry took home the cocoon, and hatched a beautiful Polyphemus moth!
It is, indeed noteworthy that Kerry not only FOUND a large-moth cocoon....but also was able to hatch one. Few others can make a claim such as this.
